I write Jeff Bezos an email containing this line:
to: Jeff Bezos

"People should not be at the emotion of "murdering their managers" and senior people in the business."
Then on Feb 24, 2022 I'm summoned to HR where Loss Prevention voices concern about this line. Loss Prevention, 2 members of HR and the General Manager are all in the meeting. I'm sent home. Then I'm fired by email:

This happened in a town who's police told me "that's not my job" when I called to report automatic gunfire."This notification is to inform you that due to your substantiated violation of Amazon’s Workplace Violence policy the company will be proceeding with termination of your employment. The termination is effective immediately and your badge is no longer active. This decision was made in consultation of Loss Prevention, and Sr. Human Resource Partnership."
Examples of real violence:
Amazon Worker In Joliet Pulls Loaded Gun On Coworkers: Joliet Police
At another facility my manager told me not to talk about unionizing while working. This manager was later berated by Human Resources of the facility.Hitman testifies ex-Amazon Mexico CEO paid him $9K to kill wife
When I worked for Pursuit, a business that manages lodges in Glacier National Park, I was told not to talk about politics.

"You are welcome to have political or ideological discussions on your own time; however, I fully support not allowing these wide-ranging topics be part of the safe and comfortable workplace environment we work to create and maintain."
The ACLU did not care to respond to me. I was a member for many years.
Everyone's work story becomes a book we all share the profit of.
So when Amazon opens up a new facility all these people show up to work VERY happy to have a job!!!! Very SMART people. And FULL TIME!!!
And the system is sleek. We have a cool computer interface where we can take a day off and check the calendar and apply for different shifts. All very cool. WOW I have a full time job. I was basically unemployed and I do MIND work all day. This is PERFECT.
But then we find ourselves under bad management who don't actually WORK the job so they don't have a good feel for what they're managing. Managers who see their employees ranked how our ID that touched product compares to other employees. Well each employee worked a different product series so the number of items worked will look different just from that.
In an OLYMPIC team there is a first, second, third and so forth. We don't walk up to the slowest Olympic team member and write them up for being the slowest Olympic team member. There is ALWAYS a slowest position no matter how fast the team travels as a group.
So there's this ENORMOUS pressure for SPEED, which crops up in Amazon's training videos. You have to imagine this is YOUR company. How would you want product handled? Does it make sense to slam boxes for speed? Of COURSE not, but this SLAMMING of boxes appeared in an Amazon training video. Slam slam slam slam, see how fast he's going everyone? This is a good worker was the thought. But NO!!! SLOW DOWN man and be CAREFUL with those boxes! We don't want sloppy SPEED we want PERFECT.
We want LONG term employees!!! We don't want managers who get on to our workers for their rate dropping down because their learning the system with a scanner that malfunctions where they have to reboot the scanner to get it to work again. These are NEW people. Treat these new people with respect. But no in comes Viking Boy to show us how we THROW boxes to the end of the aisle for speed and doesn't even listen to us when we tell him our scanner gun jammed. So we take Viking Boy up to the highest management we can find to tell management who DOESN'T CARE!!!
Worker after worker SLAMMING boxes.
You have to be in a mind mode of THIS IS MY BUSINESS, so how would I run this thing if this were mine? QUALITY!!!
Once we learn to do ANYTHING, we get faster. This is why long term employees are so valuable. ALL these skills we now have to retrain. Yes it may seem like a very simple job but there's still a learning curve!!!
So I'm walking 6 hours round trip to work and I'm so sore I punch in sick days. The system accepts my sick days but I'm fired because that many days FELT bad to HR or something. This is my first firing. Second firing, I'm called in to HR for my Email to Jeff Bezos where they cite the line above send me home and HR fires me by email with the email above.
We're very WISE people, berated by INFERIOR minds at this business bros. So I was writing to tell Jeff Bezos how he would be ANGRY to learn what goes on in his business and I'm fired for my language in my email to Bezos.
Wouldn't you be angry?
