These losses were expected with the minimum wage increase. That's part of the cost. Overall UPPING of everyone is worth the loss of jobs, IF the minimum wage is the cause of job losses. Cost of increasing the minimum wage for every business is raising prices. But EVERYONE has to raise prices, so we're square. The problem of course, businesses pick up and move to another state. Well SO!!! This is why we need a NATIONAL minimum wage. At that point, how many businesses pick up and leave the COUNTRY. But we still need essential businesses IN THIS COUNTRY. And all of THOSE job become a better support network. You have to experience trying to pay for an apartment and food on very low pay. It's not easy. So a $15 minimum wage is essential. EVER business simply raises their prices. And this is called inflation. Inflation pays for this increase.

So everything beyond that is savings.The federal minimum wage is $7.25. $7.25 - $6.84 = $0.41 in savings per hour.
$0.41 * 40 hours a week * 52 weeks a year = $852.80 per YEAR is your savings on minimum wage. I need better down and poor figures rather than average. But I bet we're close. If we make the minimum wage $7.82, people can save $2,000 a year. We need a little more to buy entertainment stuff so another $500 a year = $8.06
I didn't include cost of kids and clothing. And every once in a while we need a new USED car.

I have a design for long range wireless as an ionosphere bounce that will ROCK as an equal partnership in the future. I calculated these links can reach 1000 miles. 22 of the fastest USB WiFi radios all connected in to a Raspberry Pi. Then our round robin TCP/IP setup cycles through 1000 of these. Because it's a round robin system and built into Linux, the radios don't conflict with each other. We should be able to do gigabit links quite easily. 1000 mile range. This will be a fun equal partnership to build once we have our numbers up. I mentioned all I need is 1 visitor a day the first year. We're already WELL past that!! These are the stats for last week:
